Relationship Coaching for Couples

When you love each other – but keep getting caught in the same conflicts.

Maybe you keep arguing about the same things. One of you withdraws, while the other becomes louder or more demanding. You defend yourselves, explain, blame – and at some point, you barely know how to find your way back to each other.

Or maybe you don’t argue that much, but something between you has grown quieter. Less closeness, less touch, less honest connection.

Often, love isn’t what’s missing. What’s missing is a way of dealing with the moments when things get difficult.

I help you step out of these old cycles. To speak more honestly about what is really going on. To react less from attack, defensiveness or withdrawal. And to learn how to come back together after conflict and hurt.

The goal isn’t to never argue again. It’s to stop losing each other in conflict – and learn how to find your way back.

In our sessions, we don’t just look at what you are arguing about. More importantly, we look at what happens between you when things get difficult.

Where do you attack, defend or withdraw? And what could you do differently in those moments?

You learn to show yourselves more honestly and to recognize the old protective strategies that keep getting in the way of connection.

These patterns don’t change through one good conversation. That’s why I work with most couples over two to four months – with sessions together, practices for your everyday life, and chat support for those moments when things get difficult between you.

My job isn’t to solve your conflicts for you. Eventually, I want you not to need me anymore.

You learn how to handle conflict differently, repair hurt and disconnection, and find your way back to each other after difficult moments.

How I work with you

What I can support you with

The Relational Honesty Method

The four pillars that help you stay connected even when things get difficult.

1. Stay connected to yourself
You learn to notice earlier what is happening inside you: your feelings, triggers, boundaries and old protective reactions. This creates the possibility of choice instead of automatically attacking, defending or withdrawing.

2. Show yourself honestly
Say what is really going on – without blame and without hiding behind explanations. You learn to bring your feelings, desires and boundaries into the relationship while taking responsibility for them.

3. Really listen
Instead of immediately explaining, defending yourself or fighting back, you practice first understanding your partner’s experience and helping them feel genuinely heard – even when you see things differently.

4. Konflikte reparieren

This creates a relationship in which conflict doesn’t have to disappear for closeness, honesty and intimacy to be possible.

Ways to work with me

From a single session to several months of support – depending on where you are and what you want to change.

For the longer coaching processes, we begin with one individual session with each of you before continuing together as a couple.

You’ll also receive practical exercises and impulses for everyday life, tailored to what is most relevant for you.

My aim isn’t simply for our conversations to feel good. I want something to actually change between you.

About me

I know what it’s like to abandon myself in relationships.

For a large part of my life, I avoided conflict. I adapted, withheld things or lied in order to avoid confrontation.

From the outside, things might have looked peaceful. Inside, I was struggling – and I often felt lonely even while I was in a relationship.

I had to learn that relationships only work for me when I really show up: when I stand up for myself, stop avoiding conflict and don’t disappear when things get difficult.

And when I actively participate in shaping the relationship instead of waiting for the other person – or the circumstances – to change.

This experience also shapes my work with couples.

I’m not interested in blame or deciding who is right. I’m interested in how both of you can take responsibility for your part, move beyond old protective strategies and learn how to find your way back to each other after conflict.

Most importantly, I want you to have the experience:

We can actually do this differently.

I have been working with couples since 2019. My work draws from Radical Honesty, Gestalt therapy and body-oriented approaches.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if only one of us really wants to change?
That’s quite common. You don’t have to be at exactly the same point. What matters is that both of you are fundamentally willing to engage in the process and look at your own part in what is happening.

How often do sessions take place?
We decide that based on what makes sense for your process. Usually, we work together regularly over two to four months. Between sessions, you’ll receive exercises for everyday life and can use our shared chat for support.

What happens if things escalate between sessions?
Those moments can actually be especially valuable. You can reach out in our shared chat, and I’ll support you in stepping out of the escalation and finding your way back into contact.

Do you work online or in person?
My couples coaching takes place primarily online.

Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes. We have 45 minutes to look at what is currently happening between you, what you would like to change, and whether working with me feels like a good fit.
Afterwards, you can take your time to decide whether you want to continue.

Let’s look at where you are right now.

In a free 45-minute consultation, you can tell me what is currently difficult between you.

Together, we’ll look at what you want to change and whether working with me could be a good fit.

You don’t have to commit to anything yet.
